Jay in Louisiana sent in a package to the SouthEastern Backpackers. It is full of Cajun trail food for the next backpacking trip, a few snacks for the podcast and an LSU surprise. What a fun time was had Thursday evening over a cigar! Jay also provided this weeks album art and the pictures after this post. The food he sent along was Zatarains and Tony Chachere’s. Some of these will make it on the next hike. Lori sent along a few river names for the Rylan & Golden to pronounce since they had so much trouble figuring out that PA was for Pennsylvania!
Shug has recently published a tarp video. We have added it after this post too. Shug makes most of his equipment and he is mailing in one of his earlier hammock designs for Rylan to use on the next Appalachian Trail hike.
Dane & Connie start their AT Thru Hike the day following this posting. We wish them well and plan to catch up with them at some point a little further North. Just before beginning this adventure they followed the advice and guidance of Dave Ramsey and have become completely debt free. Dave Ramsey has a radio show that he podcasts and it can be found on iTunes.
