We are out front in the rain this week, and we are glad to have it! The rain reminded us of an outdoors motto from Dane & Connie - "Just Do It! Don't let the weather get in the way of getting out and enjoying nature."

Matthew from AlaTrails joined us at the table this week. He was recently hiking & camping in the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest. He was thinking of us and sent in this some audio that he recorded while he was there. Also the pictures at the end of this post are from his trip.

Golden canceled yet another hiking trip and updated us on the progress of his office (his excuse for canceling backpacking trips). Apparently several people have asked what Golden does for a living so he talked a little about his profession.
