Matthew and his wife Lesley from the forum AlaTrails joined us this week. It was a real pleasure to have guests at the Thursday night stogie table and we rambled on for several hours. I cut our conversation down to about an hour and tried to keep it on the subject of hiking and camping. Golden and I have been wanting to visit The Walls of Jericho and we got some first-hand information since Matthew and Lesley have been. Matthew is sold on the penny alcohol stove. He demonstrated one for us but even better he made one for each of us. He does an excellent job on them. I've included a picture of one of them here.
