Golden has been reading the iTunes reviews.  He has had some difficulties lately and he makes it a point to thank everyone who has left reviews for the podcast.  This weeks show starts off trying to work out a plan to keep from running out of battery power in the recorder any more.  Having a plan didn't work, the batteries died again!  After a little discussion about Pinewood Derby season, Meg's upcoming hike, Lori's new hiking group and a pink bandanna that Golden thinks Rylan hikes with, the discussion was driven by recent emails.  Matthew in Florida sent in another report on The Bug Button.  Our album art comes to us from Lisa and her Yosemite hike.  She provided some more tips on hiking with kids.  Keep them well fed with stuff they like and entertained with things they want to do (a swimming hole just off the trail).  The podcast finishes off with a series of laughs from two brothers; Ryan in California and McKay in Oregon.  They decided to spend their extra time backpacking together and getting their father involved.  Their first attempt was doomed from the start but they made the best of it and shared great laughs with The SouthEastern Backpackers.
