Early in October Golden and I got to hike with a group who are section hiking the Appalachian Trail. The group is lead by Toothless who publishes the podcast AT Hiking. They have worked their way up to Virginia, so that is where we spent a week backpacking. The leaves were changing colors, the evenings were getting cool and we had a little rain at the beginning, but the company was unbeatable. Which is why this trip will go down as one of my best hikes ever! Listen to the next few podcasts, you’ll probably get to know everyone a little and experience some of our trip.
Our team of South-bounders consisted of (L - R) Rylan & Golden, Dale (Eldorado), Kent (Toothless), Mike (Puddin?), Bart (Superman), Dane (Tagless) and Connie (Tag-Along). There was also another group going North who we passed along the trail and had lunch with.
